Grants for cavity wall and loft insulation!

Whatever your income, grants of between 50% and 70% are available for loft or cavity wall insulation.  Grants are available to homeowners and private tenants.  Households where anyone is receiving one of the following benefits or tax credits, or anyone is over the age of 70, should be eligible for a 100% cavity wall and loft insulation grant:

Cavity Wall & Loft Insulation Saves Money!

About 35% of the heat lost in your home escapes through your walls.  Up to 25% of your heat is lost through your roof. That's a combined 55% heat loss or 2.5 tonnes of CO2 per year.
With cavity wall insulation the average house could reduce heating costs by 15% or about £100 per year. Loft insulation to the recommended 270mm depth could save you about £110 per year.
